Questions people ask
Do I need to download anything from the portal?
No. After you verify your PAN, TaxCare fetches the statements for you.
Why does the statement depend on the Tax Year?
Form 168 replaces Form 26AS under the Income-tax Act, 2025, so the app shows the right one for the year you pick.
What if the portal is unavailable?
The data cannot be fetched until it is back. You can hand the return to a Tax Expert in the meantime.
