Questions, answered

What is section 44AD?

A simpler scheme for small businesses: profit is taken as 6% of turnover received through banks or digital modes and 8% of cash turnover, within ₹2,00,00,000 of turnover — or ₹3,00,00,000 when cash receipts are within 5%.

Why does digital turnover matter?

Turnover received through banks or digital modes is taxed on a lower deemed profit (6% instead of 8%), and a mostly digital business gets the higher turnover limit.

I'm registered under GST. Can I self-file?

When your AIS shows GST turnover, a TaxCare Tax Expert files your return so it matches your GST returns. The price is shown before you book.

My turnover is above the limit.

Then you file ITR-3 with your actual profit, and your accounts may need an audit — due 21-Nov-2026. A TaxCare Tax Expert can do it for you.
