How TaxCare handles it

Only what the app does today — nothing promised for later.

  1. Connect your PAN onceVerify with the OTP the Income Tax portal sends to your Aadhaar-linked or registered mobile. TaxCare takes it from there.
  2. Your records, fetchedOnce your PAN is connected, TaxCare pulls your AIS, TIS and Form 26AS or Form 168 straight from the Income Tax portal.
  3. The right form, from your dataTaxCare works out whether you file ITR-1, 2, 3 or 4 from what your records show — and tells you the reason when it moves you up a form.
  4. Both regimes, worked outYour tax is calculated under the old and the new regime on your own figures. You see the difference before you choose.
  5. Approve, upload, e-verifyNothing is released until you approve it. You upload the return on the Income Tax portal, then e-verify with an Aadhaar OTP, and reminders follow until it's done.
  6. 25% off your first returnThe first return you file yourself with TaxCare gets 25% off, once per account. The fee follows your income and never goes above ₹1,499.
  7. Ask Shri, in your own wordsShri, TaxCare's assistant, answers in English, Hinglish or Hindi. It gives general guidance, not professional tax advice.
