How TaxCare handles it

Only what the app does today — nothing promised for later.

  1. Every PAN at home, one loginAdd your own PAN first, then each family member's. Each one is verified with the OTP the Income Tax portal sends for that PAN.
  2. A separate return for each personEach family member gets their own return, figures and e-verification. You manage all of them from one account.
  3. Your records, fetchedOnce your PAN is connected, TaxCare pulls your AIS, TIS and Form 26AS or Form 168 straight from the Income Tax portal.
  4. Approve, upload, e-verifyNothing is released until you approve it. You upload the return on the Income Tax portal, then e-verify with an Aadhaar OTP, and reminders follow until it's done.
  5. A Tax Expert when you need oneIf your return has something self-filing doesn't cover, hand it to a verified TaxCare Tax Expert from inside the app. The price is shown before you book.

Questions, answered

Why must I add my own PAN first?

Your own PAN anchors the account. Once it is connected, you can add family members.

Does my family member need to be involved?

Yes, once. Each PAN is verified with the OTP the Income Tax portal sends to that person's Aadhaar-linked or registered mobile, so do it with them and with their consent.

Are the returns combined?

No. Each person files their own return, with their own figures, refund and e-verification. You just manage them from one account.

What if someone else already added that PAN?

A PAN can be on one account at a time. Verifying it with the portal OTP moves it to yours, and the other account is told.

Everyone's ITR, from one account.

Your first return with TaxCare gets 25% off. The fee follows your income: free up to ₹1,00,000, then from ₹49 — never more than ₹1,499.
