How TaxCare handles it

Only what the app does today — nothing promised for later.

  1. ITR-U rules checked before you payTaxCare works out the additional tax for the month you file, and stops the return if the law does not allow an updated one.
  2. Your records, fetchedOnce your PAN is connected, TaxCare pulls your AIS, TIS and Form 26AS or Form 168 straight from the Income Tax portal.
  3. Pay what's due, then fileAny tax, interest or fee still due is worked out for you and paid before the return is filed.
  4. Approve, upload, e-verifyNothing is released until you approve it. You upload the return on the Income Tax portal, then e-verify with an Aadhaar OTP, and reminders follow until it's done.
  5. A Tax Expert when you need oneIf your return has something self-filing doesn't cover, hand it to a verified TaxCare Tax Expert from inside the app. The price is shown before you book.
